Our Story

It started with a broken door handle.

Our operations manager flagged a tenant text to our founder one night:

“The back door handle came off. Don't worry — already fixed it.”

The tenant was a construction worker renting one of our founder's properties, on a multi-month build. That pattern wasn't unusual. Across his rentals — and across the property operators he was building automation for — construction crews stood out. They showed up on time. They didn't complain. They fixed things themselves. They paid like clockwork.

We started paying attention to the other side of the equation. The same call kept coming in to property operators in our markets:

“Do you have 20 homes near the data center site by next week?”

HR managers and site superintendents were burning days on phone trees, hotel calls, and Airbnb rejections. The best tenants in rental real estate had no one who spoke their language and had the supply to answer.

We founded Monthly Rental Bee to answer that call. One number. One invoice. No broker chain.

Rexon spent nearly a decade at Tesla leading software engineering teams — learning how automation turns chaos into process. He applied the same lens to rental real estate, building sales and operations automation for his own rental portfolio and for partner property operators across Texas.

A tenant text his operations manager surfaced one night — “the back door handle came off, already fixed it” — reframed how he saw the tenant base. He founded Monthly Rental Bee to give construction companies one number to call for crew housing.
